A2 - Motorcycle License (20+)

The right to drive motorcycles with a maximum power of 35 kW (46.94 hp) and a maximum power-to-weight ratio of less than 0.2 kW/kg, which are not derived from the modification of another motorcycle, with a power greater than twice the power of the modified motorcycle. The candidate must be 20 years old to obtain the license and it is valid for 15 years. Minimum Mandatory Lessons: 21 theoretical COCs (if you do not have another license), 11 theoretical and 14 practical.

Required Documents

1. Application - Responsible Declaration in which the interested party declares:

   • his/her permanent residence.

   • his/her Tax Identification Number.

   • that he/she does not hold any other driving license from Greece or an EU Member State.

2. Print application.

3. Identity card or passport in force and photocopies of them.

4. Two ( 2 ) colored passport-style photographs.

5. Two (2) health certificates from a pathologist and an ophthalmologist, contracted with the Ministry, with proof of payment to the doctor. The cost of the visit for each doctor is 10€ and a receipt must be given to deposit the photocopy.

During the visit to the doctors for the health certificates, the candidate must take:

1. a certificate from an optometrist or ophthalmologist for the examination of visual acuity, contrast sensitivity and visual field.

2. a medical certificate, according to Annex 5 of EU Regulation 2009/113/EC, from a certified laboratory for hearing testing.

3. a medical certificate for heart and circulatory system, according to Annex 6 of EU Regulation 2009/113/EC, from a certified laboratory for conducting exercise tests.

4. a medical certificate, according to Annex 7 of EU Regulation 2009/113/EC, for respiratory function testing, from a pulmonologist or a respiratory system physiology laboratory.
