A - Motorcycle License (22+ or 24+)

Entitles the holder to drive any motorcycle, regardless of power or power-to-weight ratio, or a motor tricycle with an engine power exceeding 15 kW (20.12 hp). The candidate must be 24 years of age or 22 years of age if he/she holds an A2 driving license for at least two (2) years, and the license is valid for 15 years. Compulsory lessons: 21 theoretical C.O.C. (if you do not have another driving license), 11 theoretical and 14 practical.

Documents Required

1. Application - Declaration in which the applicant declares:

   • his/her permanent residence.

   • his/her Tax Identification Number.

   • that he/she does not hold any other driving license from Greece or an E.U. member state.

2. Print Application.

3. Identity Card or Passport in force and photocopies thereof.

4. Two ( 2 ) color passport-type photos

5. Two (2) health certificates from a pathologist and an ophthalmologist contracted with the Ministry, with proof of payment by the doctor. The cost of the visit for each doctor is 10€ and a receipt must be given in order to deposit the photocopy.

During the Exam

1. The candidate must be present at the examination center 30 minutes before the exam start time.

2. The candidate must have the original documents and photocopies of the required documents with him/her.

3. The theoretical test consists of 20 multiple-choice questions and lasts 30 minutes. The passing grade is 16/20.

4. The practical test takes place on a closed circuit and lasts 30 minutes. The candidate must demonstrate his/her ability to control the motorcycle and his/her knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.

5. If the candidate fails the practical test, he/she can retake the test after 20 days.

6. If the candidate fails the theoretical test, he/she can retake the test after 5 days.
