B – Car License

Driving license for passenger cars, with manual or automatic transmission, up to 9 seats including the driver's seat, and trucks up to 3500 kg gross weight, with the ability to tow a trailer up to 750 kg. The minimum age for obtaining a category B license is eighteen (18) years and it is valid for 15 years. Mandatory Lessons: 12.

Documents required

1. Application - Responsible declaration in which the applicant declares:

   • his/her permanent residence.

   • his/her Tax Registry Number.

   • that he/she does not hold any other driving license of Greece or any EU member state.

2. Application for printing.

3. Police ID card or Passport in force and photocopies of them.

4. Two ( 2 ) color photographs, passport type.

5. Two (2) health certificates from a pathologist and an ophthalmologist, affiliated with the Ministry, with proof of payment from the doctor. The cost of the visit for each doctor is €10 and a receipt must be provided to submit the photocopy.
