C - Professional Truck Driver's License

Driving license for trucks weighing from 3501 kg up to the maximum permitted weight of each truck, with the ability to tow a trailer up to 750 kg. A prerequisite is that the candidate holds at least a B category driving license. The minimum age limit for obtaining it is 21 years. It is valid for 5 years from the date of issue or the date of the previous renewal. Mandatory Courses: 15 theoretical and 15 practical for trucks. In case of having a D category, 6 practical truck courses are required for the C category and not 15.

Required Documents

1. Application - Affidavit in which the interested party declares:

   • his permanent residence.

   • his Tax Identification Number (TIN).

   • that he does not hold any other driving license of Greece or any E.U. member state.

2. Print application form.

3. Identity Card or Passport in force and photocopies of them.

4. Two ( 2 ) color passport-type photos.

5. Two (2) health certificates from a pathologist and ophthalmologist, contracted with the Ministry, with the doctor's payment receipt. The cost of the visit for each doctor is €10 and must be given in cash to the doctor.

6. Proof of payment of fees.
