D - Professional Bus Driver's License

Driving license for buses with the ability to tow a light trailer up to 750 kg. The prerequisite is for the candidate to hold at least a category B license. The minimum age limit for obtaining it is 24 years old. It is valid for 5 years from the date of issue or the date of the previous renewal. Mandatory Courses: 15 theoretical and 15 practical lessons for buses. In case the candidate already holds a category C license, only 6 practical lessons for buses are required for the D category, instead of 15.

Documentation

1. Application - Responsible Statement in which the interested party declares:

   • his/her permanent residence.

   • his/her Tax Registration Number.

   • that he/she does not hold any other Greek or EU member state driving license.

2. Printing Application.

3. Identity Card or Passport in force and photocopies of them.

4. Two ( 2 ) colored passport-type photographs.

5. Two (2) health certificates from a pathologist and an ophthalmologist, contracted with the Ministry, with the doctor's payment receipt. The cost of the visit for each doctor is 10€ and a receipt must be given in order to deposit the photocopy.

6. Electronic Paravola: (e-Paravolo)

During the visit to the doctors for the health certificates, you must provide:

1. The photographs.

2. The health book or the exams.

3. The identity card or passport.
